Lake Coeur d'Alene is one of the most beautiful lakes in the country, and also one of the most difficult to photograph, because o the lack of clear vistas. I found this view by driving back from taking photos of bald eagles at Wolf Lodge Bay. It took a little hiking, and some uncomfortable proximity to freeway traffic, but it was worth it.
The Spokane River rushes by at the Bowl and Pitcher area of Riverside State Park. The swinging bridge that spans the river can be seen in the distance.
